If you’ve ever met Adam Freeman, you know he’s nothing but class. He’s hard-working, kind, a supporter of independent film, and an overall nice guy with a unique vision. I had the honor of working with him on the set of Curse of the Weredeer, and our time together definitely added a happy ending to my experience. His debut feature, Deadly Dealings, is a dark yet brightly colored look at depression, loss, and possession, a visually stunning, low-budget gem. Now he’s taking the hard-to-find SOV classic, Donald Farmer’s 1989 film Scream Dream, and remaking it in his own creative style. The cast is an absolutely amazing group of familiar names from the independent horror world, the crew is a supremely talented group of humans, and the Indiegogo just went live, so it’s time to put your money where your mouth is, all you supporters of indie horror, and pitch in to help make this the very best movie it can be!

When Michelle is replaced by Jamie, things get crazy as Michelle invokes a demon to take her revenge. As Jamie climbs the ladder of success, she spirals into a world of nightmares!! We are giving you 80s vibes with big hair, pastels, holographic glittery clothes, glitter make up, and beautiful women!!’
Straight from Mr. Freeman himself, a little more about the remake… “We are giving you … glitter make up similar to Jem and the Holograms, we’re giving you bisexual lighting with colors of pink/baby blue/ purple and greens! We are giving you lots of gore and practical FX. We're giving you beautiful locations and a talented cast and crew! We're here to give you one hell of a nightmare!”

Off-screen, we’ve got HM&M’s Tom Komisar (director of House of Whores and Blood Moon River) writing music; James Boylan (soundguy extraordinaire on Blood Stab, The Secret of Cuck Island, and Curse of the Weredeer) making sure everything sounds hot; Amy Crabtree (executive producer of Deadly Dealings) supervising the project; Ben Johnson (director of Curse of the Weredeer, member of the diaper mafia in Shakespeare’s Shitstorm) holding down the cinematography; and Jessie Seitz (makeup/effects on Jakob’s Wife, director of Beyond Horror) making things as nasty and gory as possible!
